A Life to Celebrate

Bonnie passed away today, June 1st 2010 at 11:45 am. She was sleeping peacefully with Peter holding her hand and brother-in-law Billy there. The hospice nurses told us on Friday that she probably wasn't going to last through the weekend, but we got an extra couple of days.

My mom was the best. She had surrounded herself with such wonderful people, and we thank all of you for supporting her and us for the last few months.

We are planning a celebration for her - The plan is for Saturday, June 12 in the late afternoon. I will get out more details as they happen.

Thank you - everyone again for your love and support.

And Mom, LYM

It's the end of an era. Imagine being loved by a whole community of friends and school associates, children and adults, who are blessed to have known her. I feel so honored to have been among her friends. My life is richer for having known her. Our love to all the family. She was one of a kind. Joyce and Bob

  4. Hi Jenya,
I just heard the news from Penny (Melton). I am so sorry. I was shocked because I didn't know your mom was even sick. Her retirement news made it over here to Scotland and I was so happy to hear she would finally get a break! I will treasure even more the times I spent at your house cutting hair, drinking wine and eating yummy food. I always think of her when talking about beer-butt chicken, your runaway doggie and awesome co-workers! She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor and I will miss her immensely. Warmest thoughts, Michelle Watkins
